25 Things I Love About Michael (on his 25th birthday) (and in no particular order)

#1 His love and passion for God and his ministry.
#2 That he always thinks his jokes are the funniest.
#3 His vocabulary - way more extensive than mine.
#4 That he gets passionate about music. Intensely so.
#5 That he tries to encourage me to exercise. Even when I HATE IT.
#6 His guitar playing. And concentration on learning a new song (i.e. In Your Atmosphere)
#7 That he's going to be a wonderful father.
#8 That he loves me no matter what.
#9 His patience for me.
#10 The way he jams out with his headphones on (all sweaty after running) while washing the dishes.
#11 The fist pumping when he's running.
#12 That he has slowly begun to critique my cooking more often.
#13 His scruffy look.
#14 His blue eyes.
#15 That he worked so hard to get his degree while working full-time and a half.
#16 His sermons in church.
#17 That he keeps watching Lost with me, even though he "hates" it.
#18 That he doesn't get annoyed (or doesn't seem to) when I'm wearing new clothes.
#19 That he just wants to spend all his free time with me.
#20 That he's becoming an Apple person.
#21 That he would be a wonderful dog owner. (hint hint)
#22 That he's currently singing "happy happy birthday to me" while lounging on the couch.
#23 His wedding proposal.
#24 That he'll go to the park (or even the pool) with me, even though he hates to be outside.
#25 That after nearly 5 years of marriage, he now voluntarily smiles for pictures.

I love you, Michael. You're my favorite. :)

Hey Summer--don't know if you remember me, but we went to Morningside together! I ran across your blog by complete coincidence, and when your picture popped up, I totally recognized you! We did some Campus Ministry stuff together, anyhoo, my blog address is thefreemanadventures.blogspot.com. Looks like things are going really well for you in PA. We are living in CA, also a long ways from home. I was reading your post about how Wally World was a familiar surrounding when you first moved there--I feel the same way about Target! I thought I was the only one. Anyhoo, take care!
