So last Wednesday I traveled to Tucson, AZ for work. . .it was our National Sales Meeting. While the weather was BEAUTIFUL (at sunny and 75 degrees), I had very little time to enjoy it. I was in meetings constantly, with maybe a 30 minute break each day - from early morning to night.
Here are a couple of pictures from the trip. Our hotel. . .awards banquet. . .
By the way, Tiger Woods checked in on Saturday while we were there. Unfortunately, I didn't spot him.
Flew back on Monday - it was an uneventful trip back, which was wonderful, since the flights I'm on are usually incredibly bumpy, cancelled, delayed, or re-routed. When I arrived home I saw that Michael cleaned the entire apartment. So sweet. EVEN THE INSIDE OF THE REFRIGERATOR! I've been hoping that thing would clean itself since we moved in. :o)
Had surgery Tuesday morning. Everything went well. One thing I knew, I was wide awake with an IV in my hand, the next moment I was waking up in recovery. (Surgery was on my leg) I had to leave the bandage on for two days (without showering) till Thursday morning at my post-op appointment. The dr. took off the bandage, checked out the situation, said it looked fine and sent me on my way with a fresh bandage.
Ok, my leg is completely disgusting. I'm tempted to post a picture here, but it will probably be removed by the powers that be. It's all purple. And red. Mostly purple everywhere.
I've slept a ton over the last few days. That anesthesia they used really worked wonders. Seems to have stuck around for a while. :o)
Just woke up today. Eating a grapefruit, listening to Paolo Nutini, and wondering when Theresa's going to have her baby.
